Influenster #FrostyVoxBox Review

I was recently selected to receive the #FrostyVoxBox from Influenster to try out some different products. These were all complementary for reviewing purposes.

Influenster is a a website that allows you to do product reviews and potentially receive free products or boxes of multiple products and samples to try whilst reviewing on social media sites. CLICK HERE to check it out and join.

New Fruit Vines Bites in Strawberry. I had to take a picture of this one immediately, because right after said picture I dug right into them. They were pretty good - great bite sized snack that I could imagine taking anywhere- including to the movies. If anything, I would have made them a bit thinner/smaller, but they were still good and are now long gone.

Sample of Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea with a a coupon. I'm personally not a huge fan of tea, but my boyfriend buys this brand and will be trying this particular packet later.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. I've never used makeup remover, as I find face cloths and just face wash usually do the trick with some scrubbing, so I'm definitely interested in trying this out to see if it's less effort for better results.
EcoTools Styler brush. Not a bad brush. Love the brand overall and wasn't even aware they made hair brushes.

NYC Expert Last Lip color in Sugar Plum. I really liked this color as it was more on the natural side for me - not as bold and went well with most outfits. The only thing I didn't like was that the cover did not stay on well - and the lip color smeared all over in my purse and work vest. I was disappointed overall due to that.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof eyeliner. Another disappointment. No seal on the cap meant it was free to come off and roll around in the box. I was met with the liner part smeared over the box and other products

Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced Serum sample.

McCormick Gourmet Thyme, I've never used this, however I really like the McCormick brand. I'll be trying this in an upcoming stew.

Overall a really nice box and I'm having fun trying everything out.

Love with Food December 2014 Box Review

Looking for new snacks to try? Gluten free, no artificial junk, GMO free? Want to make sure you're helping to feed hungry children in America? This may be the subscription box for you!

Love with Food is a monthly food subscription box. They offer three different boxes to suit your needs and price ranges.  You can earn points on their site which you can eventually use to purchase foods and snacks on their site. You can earn points with a box subscription, writing reviews on the products you receive, and by referring friends.

Tasting Box - $10/month for 8+ snacks. 10 points a month just for receiving the box. Every box you receive donates 1 meal to a hungry child in America.

Deluxe Box - $17/month for 16-20 snacks. 20 points a month for receiving the box. Every box you receive donates 2 meals to hungry children in America.

Gluten Free Box - $24.50/month for 8-12 snacks. 20 points a month for receiving the box. Every box you receive donates 2 meal to hungry children in America.

I ordered the Tasting Box with a special promotion so it was only $2.  The following is what I received:

Honey-Acres Dark Chocolate Honey Mint (2 candies)
I'm personally not a fan of dark chocolate or chocolate candies that contain mint. I gave it to my boyfriend to try. He enjoyed them.

Bali's Best Espresso Candy (2 candies)
Ohhhh I really loved these, and I'm not even a huge fan of coffee. Maybe it's because these had a little bit of sweetness to them. It's a hard candy with a coffee flavor. These are really great and I would definitely buy them.

Liddabit Sweets (2 caramels)
These were okay. I prefer my caramels to be sweeter. The salt helped, however it seemed like the salt was situated on one side of the caramel and being that I didn't pop the whole thing in my mouth - one of my bites involved a mouthful of salt.

Nocciolata Organic Hazelnut Spread (1 sample packet)
I don't like chocolate spreads, so I wasn't a fan of it - but I could recognize that it would definitely be a good competitor with Nutella.

Olympos Pitted Green Olives
I was quite surprise to see olives in a snack box, that they found a way to package them. I wont be trying these because I'll be regifting them to my father who enjoys olives.

Next by Nature Dark Chocolate Coconut
These were really good as well. I'm not a fan of dark chocolate, but these were good. Reminded me of Almond Joy candy a bit. A great ratio of chocolate and coconut slices.

Crunchy Cookie Chips
I've seen these in stores recently and was always curious to try them. They were good, surprisingly sweet so I could only eat a few of them at a time. It definitely tasted like a crunchy cookie. I may buy them in the future, to try the chocolate chip ones.

Oogies Gourmet Popcorn Kettle Corn
This. This right here was amazing. I normally don't like kettle corn, but boy did I munch my way through this bag right away. I will DEFINITELY be buying this product soon. It was the right amount of sweetness and crunch. Even the smell was amazing.

Overall this box was great, especially for my $2 deal, so I wont be cancelling and will continue to receive it for $10 a month. I may even upgrade to the Deluxe one. So this would be a great site to check out if you want to give your Gluten - free friends a gift subscription to their gluten free box.

And if you want the same sort of deal I got, click my referral link below and get your first box free, you'll only have to pay the $2 so they can ship it to you. You can very easily cancel after your first box, if you aren't impressed or if you can't afford the monthly recurring subscription.

Ipsy December 2014 Bag Review

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription bag at the cost of $10/month. Each time you receive a different bag filled with full and sample sized products. On top of that, you can earn points on their website for referring friends and posting reviews which you can use to get free products. Prices listed will be based on what I find on the companies individual websites, or what I calculate out based on full size prices if it's a sample size.
tarte lights, camera, lashes mascara 0.1 fl oz. (less than $10 [.13 oz was $10])
Nyx butter lip balm in Red Velvet ($4) Thankfully when applied it's not as red as I was expecting, so I'll definitely be wearing this. It applies very smoothly.

Beauty without Cruelty facial cleanser (~$3) a 100% vegan/vegetarian facial cleanser.
Pixi fairy dust in Brightening Bare, use to highlight your eyes and cheeks. ($10)
Crown Crease/Shadow two in one brush (~$6.99)

This was my first Ipsy bag and overall I'm pleased with it, and will continue to subscribe for now. The value of the products was more than what I paid for and I'll likely use all items, though I may gift the facial cleanser to someone else as it doesn't interest me all that much.

Walmart Winter Beauty Box Review 2014!

The Walmart Beauty Box is a beauty subscription box that comes seasonally - four times a year - and only costs $5 each box. The Winter box just arrived and here's what's included:

A sample size of Dove deep moisture body wash. Use it for softer skin during this winter months, and pair it up with the sample size of Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion.

A 10 count back of Burt's Bees facial cleansing towelettes. Use it to remove makeup, and clear up your face. Covergirl Colorlicious Gloss in Candylicious (620).

Samples of - John Frieda luxurious volume shampoo and conditioner. A $2.00 off coupon is included on the back for a Luxurious Volume styling product. L'OREAL Paris Color Vibrancy shampoo, conditioner, and treatment. Flower Fragrances in Radiant, Sultry, and Cherished. I really like all of them - Sultry might be my favorite.

Overall I liked this box. It's cheap, and worth it - I believe the Covergirl Gloss alone covers the cost of the box. The only problem one might have is remembering that it's a recurring box and your card will be charged $5 every season - so make sure you remember to expect the charge.

Head to https://beautybox.walmart.com/  to subscribed now, to ensure you get the Spring Beauty Box!

Target December Women's Beauty Box 2014

It has arriiiiiiived! I recently ordered the Target Beauty Box for Women at a cost of $10. Target also offered two other boxes at different prices - a natural box and a Men's box. The Target boxes are similar to subscription boxes, except you don't subscribe to them -you have to keep your eye out on the Target website to purchase them when they become available each time. They arrive at your door a short time later with samples and full size products plus coupons or other discounts. Price of the items will be the prices I found on the Target website.

Look at how cute this winter-themed box is! I'll definitely be keeping it to store things in.

First look inside.

First up we have the Clairol Hair Food moisture hair mask with Honey Apricot Fragrance 6.3 oz ($11.99). Use it to give your hair more fullness, softness, and shine. It smells okay.

This is the Revlon HD Lacquer #510. It'll give you HD shades in a glossy color. As you can see, it's a very bold color.  ($7.99)

Chapstick Total Hydration in Sweet Peach. This clear chapstick is great for chapped lips during these winter months. ($2.99)

Covergirl Eye Enhancers kit 282 daring nudes, shadow collection. Top two may be a little too dark/daring for me now, but I'll definitely be using the others.  ($4.49)

Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced Serum, designed to smooth, hydrate, and boost. Sample size, so no price.

And lastly, L'Oreal Butterfly Intenza mascara in 379 black noir. Use it to add volume and lengthen. I was quite excited for this being that I just ran out of mascara. ($7.99)

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask to hydrate your skin overnight. Sample size at 20 mL, smallest I could find was 50 mL. (~$5.75)

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen liquid liner in black noir. I think this might be a sample size, but I'm not sure. Website didn't list the size of the one they're selling.

Overall I'm pleased with this beauty box. It was definitely worth the $10 for me - overall it had roughly a $45 value based on the prices I found on the Target website. I'll definitely be ordering again when the next one comes around.

This box also came with 2 Target coupons and a $10 gift code for dermstore.com
